With her patient-centric approach to medical care, Candice Vaknin, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a go-to practitioner for preventative care, as well as for the management of chronic conditions.
Candice’s medical path started after graduating from Astronaut high school in Titusville, Florida. Candice enlisted into the Army and worked as an EMT and a combat and flight medic.
After completing her undergraduate studies at Bethune Cookman University, where Candice earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing, she knew she wanted to broaden her scope of practice, so she decided to continue her education at the University of South Florida. Candice earned a Master of Science degree and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree. While Candice was earning her degree from USF, she worked at North Brevard Children’s Center, Parrish Medical Center and American Red Cross.
Patients explain that Candice makes them feel calm and comfortable during appointments. Candice’s natural caring demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond for her patients makes her a trusted practitioner, especially for patients who struggle with chronic arthritic pain, neuropathy, and the aging process.
When Candice is away from the clinic she enjoys spending as much time as possible playing softball, riding ATV’s and hanging out with her family.
